HOW COMPLICATED IS THE PROCEDURE?

The fat transfer procedure is simple, safe, and effective. While minimally invasive and performed in three simple steps, local anesthesia is typically used to prevent any potential discomfort during the procedure.

Step 1: Fat is extracted from the harvest site using liposuction. The most common harvest sites are areas where patients want to remove stubborn bulges or fatty deposits, usually the flanks, abdomen, buttocks, or thighs. This step of the process improves the appearance of the harvest area, smoothing the body contour.

Step 2: The fatty tissue that has been harvested is processed to separate the fat cells and prepare an injectable solution.

Step 3: The fat cells are injected directly into the target area using a small, thin tube called a cannula, adding natural volume and definition to specific areas of the face, breast, or buttocks.

You will notice visible results immediately after the treatment. In some cases, the body absorbs a portion of the transplanted fat, requiring touch-up treatments.
