WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING RECOVERY FROM A FACELIFT?

It is normal to experience mild discomfort such as soreness, bruising, swelling, and occasionally a temporary numb sensation immediately after the procedure, but these symptoms will subside within several weeks. Most patients require a week of rest immediately after the surgery, with full recovery taking about four to six weeks. We provide a specially fitted recovery garment that supports healing tissue, which is worn night and day for two weeks, followed by nightly for an additional four weeks for the best result. We encourage you to have support at home for the first week of your recovery, to assist in driving to and from appointments, and help with nutrition and comfort.
